    We will review findings from a 2019 survey of 3,000+ employees across 20 industries for a snapshot of workforce engagement. We’ll explore how engagement is defined and measured as we review the latest published report. Spoiler alert: it’s not as bad as we are led to believe. Cost estimates of low engagement as well as the upside for organizations with high engagement will be covered. We will discover what HR can do going forward into 2020 to improve engagement numbers without a huge investment.

    About the Presenter

    Rich Hazeltine is a consultant and executive coach with over 20 years of operations, organizational effectiveness and leadership development expertise. He is a veteran of hospitality, retail and e-commerce including 7 years at Zappos.com, building leaders and driving performance inside a strong culture. He focuses on designing and aligning people strategies with business strategy and results.

    Rich earned his MBA from University of Texas and a Bachelor’s in Hotel & Restaurant Management from University of Houston. He taught Design Thinking for Business Process, Ethics, and a capstone class for business school seniors simulating the lifecycle of their startups at two universities. Rich is a certified practitioner in Vital Signs, 6Seconds.org EQ assessments, LIFO and holds the CPLP & SPHR credentials from ATD and HRCI. He is also a certified Prosci Change Practitioner, ACC Coach, and New Ventures West-Integral Coach.
